Established in 1980, AIJC offers three graduate programs: Master of Arts in Journalism, Master of Arts in Communication, and Master in Communication Major in Public Relations and Corporate Communication. Since then, AIJC has provided opportunities for professionals to shine in their selected fields: in online and new media, in corporate communication, and in public relations. They serve in corporate, academic, government, and non-government organizations.
AIJC’s faculty include professionals and academics with expertise and experience in print, broadcast, and new media; communication management; communication research, and knowledge management.
Located along España Extension in Manila, AIJC is accessible to public transport, and has parking facilities available for private vehicles.
Program Rationale
High impact and transformational leaders are needed at the helm of mass media, corporate, academic, and public organizations. To prepare for this role, young and mid level communication practitioners and other professionals need to develop superior leadership and communication skills through relevant continuing education.

AIJC envisions graduates who are professionals equipped with solid communication skills,
leaders of change in different areas of endeavor. AIJC students are encouraged to explore emerging career paths, such as online journalism, design of distance education and other alternative learning systems, development of multimedia learning materials, change management, public information, knowledge management, and media entrepreneurship as well as social mobilization, behavioral change communication, and ICT for development.
